In our workshops, degreasing eliminates oily contaminantsfrom manufacturing, cutting and machining oil, and organic soiling, sludge, dust, etc.
On-site, degreasing by circulation in networks drags along impurities and agglomerated filings.

Chemical scouring aims to decontaminate stainless steel surfaces after metalworking (welding, grinding, etc.).
These activities alter and pollute the protective layer of chromium oxide.
To preventcorrosion, the oxide layer must be dissolved by chemical scouring.
This scouring can be accomplished by immersion in our workshops or by spraying, depending on the configuration of the parts.
Scouring of networks at our clients’ locations is accomplished by circulation inside the networks, by sprinkling, spraying, or runoff, depending on the capacities.

Stainless steel passivation

Passivation is the use of an oxide film on metals and alloys to slow corrosion.
Passivation is a chemical treatment that recreates the surface layer of chromium oxide on stainless steels after this protective layer has been impaired during scouring and formatting operations.
Depending on the configuration of the pieces to be treated, passivation is performed either by immersion in treatment baths or by spraying.
At industrial sites, passivation is performed by by circulation inside networks, by sprinkling, spraying, or runoff, depending on the capacities.

Removal of rouging and blacking

Retrait du Rouging et du Blacking The principal factors that cause rouging are:
  • Hot water systems, pure vapour, and ozonated water.
  • The presence of ferric ions (solder oxides, lower quality materials…).
Initially, rouging (iron oxide) appears in the passive layer of the material, and when the rouging accumulates under high temperatures it transforms into blackening (magnetite), even more difficult to remove.
Derouging is a dynamic chemical treatment carried out, if possible, under heat followed by passivation. Deblackening is a targeted scouring operation followed by passivation.This process has little effect on the roughness of the treated material.

Neutro-passivation of carbon steel

Neutro-passivation aims to eliminate the residual surface acidityand establish the passive conversion of the metal.
Neutro-passivation is performed in our workshops by immersion in treatment baths.
Atindustrial sites, neutro-passivation is performed by circulation inside networks, by sprinkling, spraying, or runoff, depending on the capacities.

Deoxidation

Chemical deoxidation eliminates metal oxides on materials sensitive to corrosionwith acid.
Deoxidationis performed in our workshops by immersion in treatment baths.
Atindustrial sites, deoxidation is performed by circulation inside networks and by sprinkling with wash heads or by spraying, depending on the capacities.

Chemical descaling involves putting lime tartar in contact with a generally acidic agent.
Descaling eliminates the excessive consumption of energy caused by the insulating power of lime scale and reduces loss of pressure and flow by re-establishing the initial passage diameter of pipes.
Descaling is performed in our workshops by immersion in treatment baths.
